Mission Statement

"With Jesus we live, love and learn" - Our School Mission Statement.

At our Catholic primary school, we're guided by our mission statement: "Through Jesus we live, love, and learn." This means that everything we do is inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ.

“I give you a new commandment,” says the Lord. “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34).

Living through Jesus means following his example of kindness, compassion, and forgiveness in our daily lives. We strive to treat others with love and respect, just as Jesus did. In fact our school values demonstrate this. Love, Accept, Respect and Reflect. These embody what we mean by living through Jesus. St Therese of Liseux serves as our role model for how this can be achieved.

Loving through Jesus means embracing the love that Jesus showed for all people, regardless of who they are. We are blessed to be a diverse community and we aim to create a sense of belonging where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and supported.

Learning through Jesus means seeking knowledge and understanding with open hearts and minds. Our curriculum is designed to broaden horizons, engage young minds and inspire whilst being rooted deeply in the traditions of Catholic social teaching. We learn not only from textbooks but also from the teachings of Jesus about love, empathy, and service to others.

Our school is named after St. Therese of Lisieux, who lived her life with love and simplicity, following the "Little Way" of doing small things with great love. Our mission statement reflects her spirit and helps shape our school life by reminding us to live, love, and learn in the way that Jesus Christ taught us, every day. It guides us in creating a nurturing environment where everyone can grow spiritually, academically, and personally.
