About

A message from the headteacher:

"On behalf of the Governing Board, Staff and children I would like to warmly welcome you to the  St Teresa's Catholic Primary School Website.  We hope it is useful to current and prospective parents and that you find all the information you need.  However, if you are not able to locate the information you require, please do not hesitate to contact the school office, who will be happy to help you.

Our vision is to promote the Catholic character of the school through ensuring that the presence of God is never overlooked or ignored.  Our mission statement is that "withJesus we live, love and learn."

St Therese of Liseux serves as our role model for how this might be achieved, following her little way and putting love and kindness above all else.

As a Catholic school we respect each pupil as unique, with God given gifts, qualities and singular needs.  We therefore take particular care with the design of the curriculum, in order to meet the needs of our children, ensuring depth, breadth and balance. We give our children the opportunity to excel physically, socially, academically and spiritually.

At St. Teresa's, we strive to develop resilience, independence and self motivation. We can achieve anything if apply good learning behaviour and believe in the power of the word 'yet'.  We do not fear making mistakes; we celebrate these as an opportunity to learn and improve.

At St Teresa's, our greatest asset is our pupils who are kind, well-mannered, hard-working and demonstrate a love of learning.  Their behaviour and relationships are built on the core values of Love, Accept, Respect, Reflect; these values were collaboratively developed by the children from their reading and understanding of The Gospels.

Dedicated and specialist staff and governors work tirelessly to deliver the best education possible for all of our children.  Our aim is to instil a love of learning in the children, to provide the best possible start to their education and to give them happy memories of their time with us, which they will remember forever.

Thank you for visiting our website. "
